Some smart stitchers begin making Christmas presents in January. Others of us (me) don’t get inspired until November-ish.
The folks I work with have been hard at work thinking up holiday projects for some time now. We are having a Christmas Countdown Open House to help you get inspired early enough to get it done! Details are on our Events page.
Boot cuffs are a popular gift and are quick to make. I am making these using the Cozy Boot Cuff pattern from Churchmouse Yarns. I love the multi brown and denimy blue! I also plan to make a charcoal grey pair. They feature a stirrup and are like a leg warmer.
Join me for the class on Thursday evening and learn lots of great techniques: how to do a great new provisional cast on, work the magic loop method, and learn a stretchy bind-off. Details on our Class Schedule page.
Kathy made these boot toppers. The pattern is a free pattern on the Berroco website that you can find here. Come to one of her knitting workshops and learn to knit in the round and change colors using the Fair Isle method.
