There are at least two little girls who are dressed appropriately today! Beginning Smocking starts on Tuesday. Come join the fun! Go to our Class Schedule page for more details.
While we are celebrating “the Land of the Free,” check out these patterns from Tin Can Knits. I love these patterns–easy to make but they don’t look like beginner patterns. In fact, I have had the Harvest Cardigan on my list for awhile. Maybe this will be my year! They are free, very well written, and these women have excellent tutorials.
If you don’t know your knit from your purl yet, we’ve got day and evening Learn to Knit classes beginning this week.
Our Knitting Workshops and Crochet Workshops are a great place to get started on a new project or get help when you’re stuck.
Beginning Quilting is on the schedule for August. Lee and I are teaching a fun beginning embroidery project in July and Lee is teaching her new Dresden quilt.
Hope you have had a fun, relaxing day. I have filled my yard cart with weeds, chatted with friends and relaxed with some stitching. Planning the same for tomorrow.
The fireworks are starting! Hope this weekend brings you lots of time to stitch!
