We would like to thank you for participating in our recent Food Drive event. We are happy to report that 297 pounds of food was delivered to Crisis Control Ministries. As you know, this is an especially important time of the year to keep the shelves stocked.
A special thank you to Richard Morrison for delivering the food items.
Kathy will be knitting miniature snowmen and providing a demonstration on Friday, December 2nd during “Sit and Stitch” (2:00pm to 6:00pm). She would love for you to join her as she provides instruction for another cute holiday project.
You will need to know either the magic loop technique or how to knit in the round using double-pointed needles. The snowmen are knitted on size 1 to size 5 needles depending on the weight of yarn you select. We will have supplies at the shop that can be purchased and the pattern will be provided.
Light refreshments will also be available. We look forward to seeing you!
In an effort to help stock the shelves at Crisis Control Ministries we will be hosting a food drive.
As you may know the upcoming holiday season is a time when our local food pantries can really use our assistance.
As a thank you for your participation; you will receive a 25% discount coupon . The coupon will entitle you to 25% off your entire purchase (one visit). In order to receive your coupon we ask that you bring at least 3 cans/items for the drive. We will collect items November 21st through December 3rd. Your coupon will expire December 10, 2016. We thank you for your consideration and participation in worthy cause.
Thanksgiving 2016 Holiday Hours
The shop will be closed Wednesday and Thursday (November 23rd and 24th) for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will reopen Friday, November 25th at 10:00. Normal business hours will resume at that time.

We will have the free pattern available. Red and white yarn is in stock for purchase. Bring your sock knitting needles, or if you prefer to have a little bigger stocking, bring needles for dk or worsted weight yarn.

We are pleased and very excited to announce an upcoming hand dyed wool trunk show that will begin on October 1st and conclude on October 27th. We will be hosting a show featuring wool from Karen Poetzinger. Come to the shop early for the best selection. We look forward to seeing you for this special event.
Fall is on the way and I am so happy. Seems to me this summer has been especially hot. Soon leaves will be changing colors and our weather will also change to cool and crisp days.
We all know that knitting, crocheting, quilting, wool applique, smocking or whatever your needle craft of choice; is especially relaxing and enjoyable when the weather turns cool.

We also have several new wool kits that are ready for your enjoyment. From stockings to ornaments; we are sure to have something you will enjoy. If you are new to wool applique, be sure to check the class schedule for the next wool applique workshop. During this session Shirley and Susann will work with you to get your wool project started or finished.
